Rite of Welcoming
The 9th grade students were welcomed into the Sacred Heart Confirmation Program on February 1, 2009. Parents, students, and their sponsors were present and the Parish community had an opportunity to congratulate and greet them as the 10th grade confirmation students hosted a fellowship downstairs in Wey Hall after Mass. There are 13 students in the program and their teacher is Lil Jungels. They include Conner Bergman, Jordyn Churchsmith, Caci Cook, Joseph Dahl, Heather Herberg, Theresa Jungels, Thomas Jungels, Rose Lekatz, Trista Sarago, Danica Schellbach, Shelby Schommer, and Daniel Weber. Sacred Heart’s confirmation program includes both the 9th and 10th grade and includes participation in classroom studies, a retreat, and service work.
NET Retreat at Sacred Heart
The National Evangelization Team is coming to Rush City for a youth retreat focused on the Sacrament of Confirmation. This event in the afternoon on Thursday, March 26, is required for our Confirmation candidates of 9th and 10th grades at Church of the Sacred Heart. Others who wish to participate may call the parish office at 320-358-4370 in order to register.
