Ministers of the Word

Ministers of the word proclaim the scriptures with clarity, understanding and conviction. They enter the temple of God carrying the Book of the Gospels in procession and are often asked to lead the prayer of the faithful during Mass. Potential ministers should be practicing Catholics and are asked to attend in-house and diocesan training. A strong and clear speaking voice is needed as well as a love for the word of God.
